James has a very wide range of academic & industrial engineering experience. He has worked in aerospace, heavy engineering & design engineering industries and has carried out numerous failure analysis assignments.
Prior to setting up his forensic engineering consultancy, he worked in academia for over 25 years & is presently an adjunct professor in Dept of Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering in Trinity College Dublin.
He is currently, part of the Forensic Engineering Group in TCD. He has prepared expert witness reports for a wide portfolio of clients both at home & abroad. Previous forensic cases range from domestic to large scale pressure vessel failures, offshore structures & ships.
