The Association of Consulting Forensic Engineers has no powers to discipline or regulate its members with regard to professional matters. These responsibilities lie with the professional organisations which govern the member concerned.
In the event that a client or other body has difficulties with a member, the committee of Association of Consulting Forensic Engineers may be prepared to appoint a facilitator to assist a resolution purely in an informal capacity. However, it will be necessary for the complainant to make a detailed written confidential submission to the committee for their consideration, and the committee reserves the right to disengage from the process at any stage without giving reasons. The committee will not involve itself in any investigative or similar role.
